Massachusetts Art Educators Conference

Sharing time with many other art educators was an exhilarating experience. Creativity, teaching and learning styles were shared by all. I had the opportunity to teach Zentangle, and participate in puppetry and special needs segments. Now I get to pass along the new knowledge.

SUMMER CLASS SCHEDULE

Painting and Mixed Media - July 18 - 22 - 9:30 to 12:30 - $185.

This class will include acrylic painting and collage. The opportunity to mix the mediums will be encouraged. You will have the option to work on canvas and/or board, and the option to work on one large or several small artworks. If you have a picture of subject matter you would like to paint, please bring it along.

Sculpture and Assemblage - July 25 - 29 - 9:30 to 12:30 - $195.

You will have the opportunity and are encouraged to create both an assemblage and sculpture. Practice material will be available before you try your hand at carving wood to make a small sculpture. Assemblage will utilize a wide array of new and recycled materials and size is up to you. Bring your imagination.

Junior Duck Stamp Results

Three of seven students who entered the Junior Duck Stamp Contest won honorable mentions. Their artwork will travel the state for the year.
